Travel detail
How to get to the hotel from the airport of Amsterdam
There are a couple of small airports on the German side of the border. However, most of you will fly to Schiphol Airport, close to Amsterdam. There is a train station connected to the airport. There you can take the intercity in the direction of Enschede. You can get out at Enschede (which is the final destination) or at Hengelo (which is the stop just before Enschede). The journey takes a little over two hours. The website of the Dutch railways is: www.ns.nl
How to get to the hotel from Enschede or Hengelo Main Station
The conference hotel “Drienerburght” is located on the university campus (UT campus). From the train stations Hengelo or Enschede you can either take a bus or a taxi. For the relevant bus lines, see the university website www.universiteittwente.nl (click on contact in the right upper corner). All drivers should speak some English. The journey takes about 10 min.
How to get to the meeting location from the hotel
The meeting will be in the hotel. The places for lunch and dinner are at walking distances.
